Personal Information

I was born in 1973 in Maribor, Slovenia. I received my bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in computer science in 1999 from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, and my master's degree (M.Sc.) in 2002 from the same faculty. In 2005 I have defended my doctoral dissertation entitled "Propagation of Heuristic Evaluation Errors in Game Graphs". I am currently a senior lecturer and researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. My research interests revolve around search techniques in AI, heuristic evaluation functions, computer game-playing, and automated explanation / tutoring systems. I also collaborate with Institute of Oncology Ljubljana where I help with statistical and machine learning methods.
