Before the New Year, the Dnevnik news programme on TV Slovenia featured a segment on the important role of Slovenian researchers in the field of artificial intelligence on a global scale. Academician Prof. Dr. Ivan Bratko spoke in the report about the beginnings and further development, while in the studio Dr. Marinka Žitnik—one of the most successful PhD graduates of the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University—discussed her work in artificial intelligence.
