Show “Na kratko” on Artificial Intelligence and Futurology

Slovenian Television, as part of its educational series Na kratko, presented topics on futurology and artificial intelligence.

In the segment on Futurology, Dr. Danijel Skočaj, head of the Laboratory for Artificial Visual Cognitive Systems at UL FRI, participated. Dr. Skočaj showcased a robot equipped with deep learning and computer vision technologies developed at UL FRI. He expressed the expectation that these technologies will become most prominent in data-intensive fields in the future.

The second segment focused on artificial intelligence. Dr. Vida Groznik, a researcher in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at UL FRI, presented the advantages of using AI in processing large amounts of data, especially in the field of medical diagnostics.
