Skeptics in the Pub about Artificial Intelligence

The first Slovenian edition of Skeptics in the Pub took place on November 15 at the Jazz Club Kazina, bringing scientific topics closer to the public through accessible lectures in a relaxed environment.

At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aleksander Sadikov from FRI participated and spoke about the role of artificial intelligence in medicine. Among other things, he presented an application developed at the University of Cambridge that helps breast cancer patients understand their treatment options. He emphasized that artificial intelligence is not a substitute for a doctor, but primarily a useful tool.
